Spot the frog contest (clue: look for the eye)
If not for the well trained eyes of a friend, it would have been nearly impossible for me to spot and photograph this little wonder.
In the picture: Reddish burrowing frog also known as the Malabar wart frog. It is endemic to the Western Ghats of India.
Look at the ability to camouflage of this little fellow, which could help protect itself from it’s predators. It is always amazing to witness nature’s creation, isn’t it!?
Surprisingly, I couldn’t find much information on this master of disguise. Will share as and when I manage to source more facts.
